In my Journey called Life

I have been married for just over a month. The experience so far is fantastic and wishing it to continue for at least another 50 years :-). And as a routine nowadays we are introduced to so many whatsapp groups starting from friends , families of different sizes on either sides. One of them is a large group my cousin with mostly married members. And we receive mostly forward jokes only in this group. And lately have been receiving lots of marriage jokes or that I have started recognizing them after marriage.  Either being the case, I suddenly couldn't laugh on these whole lots of jokes about husbands and wives  anymore. And on a serious note,  wondered whether we would also end up like this. And felt that too much exposure to these kinds of things will make us like that. I am now confused whether I am seriously right or humorously wrong. Then I asked my wife on her opinion on this. For the past few days, I had this rush in me to inquire more into the philosophical angles of life. I had been listening to speeches in TED and you tube. One interesting philosopher i came across is Arthur Schopenhauer, the eminent German philosopher of 18th century. His works had not been recognized for a long since his musings were not in line with the christian teachings and beliefs. But gradually during his last years he started gaining followers and positive critiques. I would like to share few of his prominent thoughts which has influenced me vastly. His book is "The world as will and representation". He states, unlike his contemporaries who share a very optimistic picture of life, he seems very pessimistic about the way of life. He states that humans are always in a state of suffering and despair and experience only a brief period of happiness and bliss, unlike the reverse. The story goes on like this..Me and my cousins were on a weekend meet in a XYZ sagar in Bangalore..And after having some chats I ordered for 4 coffee..suddenly my bro pitched in and said to give 3/6..I was surprised by his words..I commented instantly that it should have been 2/4 or 3/4 ..there aren't 6 of us here.. He told he ll explain me ..and once we got the 6 cups filled to its 3/4th,it struck me..he poured the 2 extra glasses into the rem 4..Hah!! here we had 4 cups of coffee at the price of 3..What an act of Genius..we saved 10 Rs..thats Rs 540 for an year..

Its true a thought gets converts to action. On Saturday morning, I called up my cousin ,who is currently studying in Adhiman,Hosur. While chatting, he told its been a long time since u came here, hah suddenly the plan for the trip was conceived in my mind. I told without second thoughts, why not meet for supper and have a nice chat .Thus confirmed with him the college timing restrictions which was 9'o' clock. Now I called up my Racing team,my cousins with Apaches, to check their availability. And as always they were too enthu about trip. So we planned to start by 5pm  and to spend sometime in Kutti tirupathi and then land in Saravana(rich)Bhavan, tastes like original  HSB. But after my cousin arriving a bit late, just 2 hrs late, I had second thoughts about leaving. But a push from the other 2 for going forward, I said lets do it. Surprised..we have taught the wrong way all by our life to not make mistakes..its a shame to make mistakes..But the reality is only those who dare to make mistakes truly succeed in life;They are the ones who dare to do anything.There is an anonymous quote" the higher the risks the sweeter the rewards".We have to take risks in life then and there.. Quantity of life is not important,but the quality.Try new things daily..different menu, different routes to your office.Remember there is no rewind button in our lives..Start making mistakes and enjoy life.

Finally a poem conceived and written by me.Doesn't it look like a poem from a 5 th grade student. It proves that i am still young..Hurray !!! Oh Dad, You asked me to play but the world around is playing with me; Oh Dad, you asked me to fight but the world around is fighting with me; Oh Dad, you asked me to change but the world around is changing with me; But you told me to be bold and that made me to fight the change and still be in the play.

I was just gazing into my ceiling and thinking about our difficulties we people are facing... What has our education taught us??? Has it taught us How to post Tweets what etiquettes to be maintained in Group chat How to address an official conference call. How to write, whom to mark in To, CC, BCC in a formal E mail. what issues to be addressed in a E mail and what not.. How to elegantly exit from a chat, when the other end is so interestingly telling his sad love story. What does it mean if someone cuts your call. Should he have sent a response via msg. Has not a single school woken up to teach these things to their students ... When are we going to stop teaching letter writing to our children..the only post we receive is our monthly statement bill for credit card.
