In my Journey called Life

The story goes on like this..Me and my cousins were on a weekend meet in a XYZ sagar in Bangalore..And after having some chats I ordered for 4 coffee..suddenly my bro pitched in and said to give 3/6..I was surprised by his words..I commented instantly that it should have been 2/4 or 3/4 ..there aren't 6 of us here.. He told he ll explain me ..and once we got the 6 cups filled to its 3/4th,it struck me..he poured the 2 extra glasses into the rem 4..Hah!! here we had 4 cups of coffee at the price of 3..What an act of Genius..we saved 10 Rs..thats Rs 540 for an year..

Its true a thought gets converts to action. On Saturday morning, I called up my cousin ,who is currently studying in Adhiman,Hosur. While chatting, he told its been a long time since u came here, hah suddenly the plan for the trip was conceived in my mind. I told without second thoughts, why not meet for supper and have a nice chat .Thus confirmed with him the college timing restrictions which was 9'o' clock. Now I called up my Racing team,my cousins with Apaches, to check their availability. And as always they were too enthu about trip. So we planned to start by 5pm  and to spend sometime in Kutti tirupathi and then land in Saravana(rich)Bhavan, tastes like original  HSB. But after my cousin arriving a bit late, just 2 hrs late, I had second thoughts about leaving. But a push from the other 2 for going forward, I said lets do it. To give a brief about the road and route, the road is a newly laid NH, has awesome bends and has steeps down till hosur. Top this with Bang c...

Surprised..we have taught the wrong way all by our life to not make mistakes..its a shame to make mistakes..But the reality is only those who dare to make mistakes truly succeed in life;They are the ones who dare to do anything.There is an anonymous quote" the higher the risks the sweeter the rewards".We have to take risks in life then and there.. Quantity of life is not important,but the quality.Try new things daily..different menu, different routes to your office.Remember there is no rewind button in our lives..Start making mistakes and enjoy life.

Finally a poem conceived and written by me.Doesn't it look like a poem from a 5 th grade student. It proves that i am still young..Hurray !!! Oh Dad, You asked me to play but the world around is playing with me; Oh Dad, you asked me to fight but the world around is fighting with me; Oh Dad, you asked me to change but the world around is changing with me; But you told me to be bold and that made me to fight the change and still be in the play.

I was just gazing into my ceiling and thinking about our difficulties we people are facing... What has our education taught us??? Has it taught us How to post Tweets what etiquettes to be maintained in Group chat How to address an official conference call. How to write, whom to mark in To, CC, BCC in a formal E mail. what issues to be addressed in a E mail and what not.. How to elegantly exit from a chat, when the other end is so interestingly telling his sad love story. What does it mean if someone cuts your call. Should he have sent a response via msg. Has not a single school woken up to teach these things to their students ... When are we going to stop teaching letter writing to our children..the only post we receive is our monthly statement bill for credit card.

Reality, I have been cautiously researching this topic for a couple of years since our controversial prof Venkat threw this raw fact upon our faces in his IIO class. And I wanna share the results with you,I am surprised!! I could visibly see many advantages and merits in managing others perception about you.But you should not also overdo it which might back fire.There is a powerful marketing campaign happening about you,behind you, which you might have consciously or unconsciously started. This will help you in getting good reference, people unanimously choose you for responsible chairs, you might(I didn't say will) be attractive to opposite sex, it will act as an extra force in you fight up the life's ladder. So we might think its always good to speak whats happening,the reality, but bite your tongue, that will not take you any further. If you are a traveler in India, you will come across lots of beggars daily. I happen to be a routine traveler in Mumbai suburbs train. And don't think I am too callous for the post you are going to read. It just happens out of my MBA pedigree. I used to watch beggars sitting outside the station and mainly in the trains.I have started wondering why do some beggars gets alms and some don't, what runs in peoples mind before offering alms to any beggar.These are my observations. The category which is the least earner in the old people and children without any physical challenges. The best category is the blind couple. And the best timing is the evening hours when people return home relaxed and are happy. The wrong hour to beg for alms is the morning biz hours.People ignore even the blind couple, nothing to say about others. And if you get alms from few people then your chances of getting more increases this tells us that people mind is in a short term dilemma about offering alms an...

Opportunities doesn't come with choices. There is a critical dimension called time which plays the devils advocate. Time or the Moment to be precise, determines the success or failure of any decision taken.Be it launch of a product,price change,policy change etc.. Many companies fail or succeed by the way they take the decision with limited information. This topic reminds me of a relevant quote by our loving prof Bala.70/40 principle. You don't have to wait for the full info to be on the table. By the time it arrives the race would have been long finished.Its the swiftness of the decision taken which differentiates leader. Taking action with boldness at lightning speed is skill to be with leaders.In my professional career I have met only a very few people with this character,one of them to remember and deserves a praise is Mr.Arasu,VP TRL. This is an important attitude to cultivate not only to reach the top and but stay there also.

Its is always very interesting to follow Consumer Behavior, its one of my favorite subjects in my MBA.Buying is not about the 4P's alone. Its a game theory and very difficult to predict the outcome of your every move as you are not the single player in the game. As the late management guru, CK Prahalad has rightly said , marketers have to fine tune their products to suit individual customer's taste. Every customer has a different response to the marketing initiatives propagated by the company. And their grievances are unique too. In future it will become more imperative and mandatory to understand each and every customer individually rather than agglomerating them into segments and silos . Companies have to customize till the very last details and there is going to be a challenge when you have to serve volumes as well as customize. Its going to be an interesting marketing scenario .

This is the punch line for Black Berry..but its also the life line of how you have to live your life..If you are not loving your job you will always be in an agitated mood which spoils all you joyous moments..And think we are not here to work..we are here to lead a happy joyous and meaningful life. 

The question which will never ever be removed from my life's dictionary is What Should I do? Why should I do ? When should I do? We keep doing things and experiencing stuff based on what our peers and society have done or aspires to do. This results in leading a life of others and not your own. Instead of copying others bucket list, make your own and plan to conquer them. This will result in a more satisfied life.

Its very important to be competitive in this world. And its also very important to participate in the race of life & win it. But the critical part which all of us miss is that LIFE is a race with myriad racetracks. And the objective is to finish the race to your utmost satisfaction. You are thy own spectator. Its a race where one might race in a Lamborghini and another in a bullock cart. Most people dont accept the fact that,Both can win the race.The fault lies in seeing our fellow beings as our competitors and land up in a stressful state. Since there is no end in this race its very important to enjoy the journey rather than race down to the race line,You are a fool if you expect a bottle of Champagne and beautiful girls waiting for you at the podium. Love u and the world loves u..hate u and the world returns it with out fail..the first step in living a happy life is to start loving you as a person. we have to respect ourselves. what we think of ourselves will only reflect outside. So start changing inner self to change the world. The world is a interconnected web and every activity is linked unlike what majority believe to be isolated events. 

To achieve excellence in any chose field or career in life, I believe these are the things which will shape your outcome.What you prioritize , focus on and put efforts in will take shape. For example, if you love tennis and prioritize it above anything else u can reach great heights in tennis. If one is passionate about earning money and can work towards it with all their might and sacrifice anything for it , one is destined to become a millionaire. Thus life's priorities ought to be very well thought and defined . Priorities and commitments are the 2 oars which will carry you through the ocean of life successfully . 

Whenever i get a chance to see an aeroplane in my childhood days, i run as fast as i could to our terrace to get a passing glimpse of the trailing jet. And i made a goal instantly to fly in that when you grew older. It also reminds me of my college days when me along with my college dudes, were staying in a paying guest house during our summer holidays in Chennai. We knew staying at home for 2 long months will create boredom, so we made plans for CAT coaching and enjoyed our summer in Chennai.It was hot summer as usual in Chennai and there is no way you can sleep inside the room without an Air conditioner. So after everyone slept, we used to climb the water tanks of our building and sleep over it and chatting about our just ended semester used to continue late into nights. Since Alandur is very near to airports, flights used to fly at very low heights, it would seem that you can hit the pilot with a stone's throw. In spite of the deafening noise we sleep. God Damn the heat and...

I have been a strong advocate of the law of attraction. And strongly believe positive thoughts lead to positive outcomes. Lately I have been violating this rule by letting negative or contradicting thoughts enter my mind . You have an average of 60000 thoughts daily. Is it possible to be aware and control all those which emerge rom the abyss of our mind . Its a big NO! Its because our Mind has all things, people ,places, experiences intertwined in our memory .So there are moments in a day where I am being drawn to an old moment or experience on any trigger  .Then it takes conscious thinking and awareness to gather my senses and get back to normalcy. This is what will change on practice and meditation.

I see my watch and its 420!! Is it coincidence or mind pulling. I am seeing 420 everywhere and I repeatedly impress upon my mind this fact that I am attracting 420 towards me. still in experimenting..

There is a lot of difference between Godly powers and performing tricks. Why are there as many praises for Swamijis in this land of sex scandal propping everyday..Its difficult to understand why? lets see what characteristics is the lying common ground between all these guruji's...Ist and the foremost one..they are all great speakers, charismatic and have traveled abroad. They all have a good white skin follwers..And this is my view point why Indians fall for these guruji's...We always awe at white skin people..consider them as more intelligent and a level above us..so when we see them falling for these guruji's. You would have heard many people saying " If there are thousand people sitting in the discourse then he should be a famous and powerful ". And nowadays with lots of funding pouring in...every discourse has free lunch/dinner for these discourse. The same technique handled by our politicians for many ages. Everyone has one thing in common. And all the difference in lifestyle and wealth among the people is how they use the same . It doesn't differentiate between rich and poor . Its absolute . Your life is made up of blocks and blocks of the same. TIME! The difference between peoples success stems out of the usage pattern of this valuable thing. Don't ever waste the precious thing. Fear. Everyone fears for one thing or another in their life. Fear is not a natural phenomenon.It was imbibed in us by people around us. There are many free advice flowing seamlessly in the air,with trail and error,I have a tool to use.What are the fears u have..facing your boss, fear of darkness, fear of anything. The first thing we have to do is make aware of that, ex if your speaking to ur boss feel your emotions, your voice might shake, ur eyes will palpitate. When you become aware of this, then ask what is the reason for that fear, then hit the nail by repeating the same thing for which you feared often and you would be amazed to see that at some point the fear disappears. The reason being the fear is not in the object outside,its in your mind inside.Mind assumes everything without our control. Fearless life is bliss.Don't miss it.

Tuitions? Why are we sending our students to Tuitions.Have we ever given it a thought let do it today.the reasons could be 1. He is getting low marks. 2. he does not obey you in home. 3. Tuition is a must after a particular standard in India. Have you ever thought what is going on inside the students mind when he is sent to tuition or weak students coaching??? You are firmly fixating in his mind that "U cannot/will not be able to solve problems on your own" ."You need support"."You spoon feed the child". You don't give the child a chance to improve on his own. Since the students start going to tuitions he makes it a point not to concentrate in school. Isn't it the duty of teacher to clear doubts of students in the class or outside the class. The common scenario in government schools is that the school teacher is the tuition master. he doesn't teach in school and puts his energy and focus in tuitions and its a chicken and egg story..Who is...

s Success is unique..Failure is common. Success cannot be replicated if done in same ways.its a mixture of hard work and luck.but failure can be avoided by learning from it.So its best to hear from the failures rather than blindly follow the successful people.

its true that you attract things and events to you. Its a complex thing to explain.This universe is your friend.It fulfills your desire. We would have experienced these things occasionally in our day to day events. We would love to eat a pudding and there it is, you find it in your friends home when you went there for a game of chess. And you just thought to call your mom and hah! there she's on the phone. We can either brush it aside as coincidence or state it as law of attraction. Universe pulls things you desire to you but with a delay. n ow considering us as normal mortals and not sages, there should be imperfections in our manifestation of this law of attraction. Think you can do training and get perfection in this art what will be the consequences? its called Magic!! You think and you get it there before you. Magic is accelerated Law of attraction.

I recently came across an discussion in Linkedln. It was an thought by a young lady as to why we should not use NY " Resolutions " rather use NY " Intentions ". And I agreed with her argument,which goes like this. Resolutions is planning the future by mending the past.And resolutions is creating a plan for the future. So here are my new year resolutions, oops sorry Intentions. CNBC. Its imperative to have speak jargons and abbreviations after finishing my MBA. C - Career, N - New Initiatives, B - Busy, C - Concentration. And this is my first year in which I am taking forward my NYI to the 2 nd month of the new year..A small pat on my back. I have planned quite a few things in line with my NYI.I have opened my Demat account. Planned to take new initiatives in my job.Have decided to interact a lot with HO, so as to gain visibility in the work. And this looks very different for me..And hope the same for all..God bless all.
